25 Years Young

1989 was the year that the Berlin Wall was brought down, the first commercial internet service providers were set up and the first ever text message was sent. It was also the year that Clare Communications was born.

The company has come a long way since then and is celebrating 25 years in business this year.

Guests, who included journalists, clients past and present, friends and colleagues joined Clare and her team at a garden party celebration in the grounds of the company’s headquarters at Rowsley Manor in Manchester.

The evening included live entertainment from international singer, Cole Page, close up magician Adam Bell and a contemporary dance troupe who unveiled the new branding and strapline; Clare Public Relations - Building Reputations. Souvenir gifts included a branded USB stick.

Guest speaker was Construction News editor and president of International Building Press Rebecca Evans. Rebecca commented: “Lots of PR companies come and go. Those that last have necessarily built strong relationships with clients and journalists alike, which stand the test of time. Clare and her team come to us with viable ideas, listen carefully to what we need and deliver on their promises, making us happy to work with them time and again.”

Clare commented: “Many things have changed since I first began the company with a telephone and a typewriter all those years ago but our commitment to achieving the best results for our clients and our passion for PR has never wavered”.
